183. Grab a pack and hit the trail.

Well, it seems like I have always resorted to walking as my main method of getting around. Always. I love the freedom it gives me. The sense of adventure, the joy of freedom... There is empowerment of self in simply putting foot to pavement and moving on. You bet there is. I love it. I know that soon this will most likely end for me. When the snow covers the ground, and the ice creates a crust that says danger then I'm going to be stuck using alternative forms of transportation, whether this is other people or the bus. My feet will no longer be my first line of transportation. And it makes me sad. I have already been resorting to this in many ways, because of the construction going on all down High St. in Clintonville and it doesn't make me very happy to say the least. I just want to get my groove back. There is something very organic to putting on your shoes and moving. Really there is, I encourage anyone who hasn't done it to try it. I'm going to work on that concept a bit more today I think, thanks for the reminder Jimmy.
