I think this is talking about staying within a certain median. Not being either too zealous or too unwilling to do what must be done. The past few days I have been very into what I was doing, to the point that I am now really, really sore from all the efforts I have put out. Now don't get me wrong, I enjoyed the work as I was doing it, but WOW, I am now paying for it in spades. Which means that today, while I am going to be making phone calls(more work but sedentary in nature)I am going to be far less active. I need to give myself a fair pace.

Also, I think this is talking about giving yourself some kind of recreation that brings inspiration. That when you do put yourself forward it should be for the right reasons. Being fulfilled is what we are about in a lot of ways. Life is selfish in some ways. We are working toward fulfillment, whether that is personal or spiritual. We try to make our connections to the Gods, the Ancestors, the Wights(land or otherwise) and we have to know that it is a good thing we are doing, that as we make these bonds and weave wyrd we are making the world a better place, that we will build something lasting for those who come after. The ride is not simply of enjoyment, even if we enjoy it as it goes along. That is why those who know us choose to remember us when we are gone. This is what it means to be a person of some worth. At least in my eyes. Money is not how we are measured. It truly is by our deeds that we are measured.

Living is in some way also connected to loving, or it should be. Well that's the thoughts that Jimmy inspired in me today folks. Yup.
