Things To Be Thankful For

1) My loved ones are near me. My eldest son is in town for the holiday and I'm going to get to see him. I have everyone I love close by in one way or another. I am a happy person in this.

2) I am able to do something of worth. There were times in the past when my disabilities ruled me to the point where the concept of volunteering was out of the question. Now I volunteer regularly, I'm getting published, and I essentially run a Hof out of my home. I've made great strides in my health and capabilities over the years.

3) I have my health. I haven't had a huge run in with the double vision/vertigo in months, and I've been seizure free for years. I haven't had major problems with mania or depression for a while now and life is pretty good.

4) My love seems to be healing, albeit slowly.

5) We have good friends and a good support system.

6) My Kindred has made it a year now. It may not be always perfect, and not everyone shows every single time but we made it the first year. That's the proving ground and I'm really excited by it. I have a viable Kindred.

7) I have my clergy license. I wanted this for YEARS and now I have one. End of Story.

8) I am starting my soap business and it looks viable.

9) I have the ability to travel. This is very important to me. Being able to travel is one of those things that is near and dear to my heart, I used to really want to attend Heathen oriented events and know that it was never going to happen, now I can attend them. I have met some wonderful people and had incredible experiences.

10) We will not go without, or be unable to give nice presents to our families this year. Yes this sounds dumb but I was terribly worried when lordvyle had his surgery that we were going to go into a very big financial hole and we'd be in serious debt. That is not happening. And we have a neato present for the nieces thanks to G at Serving America First. Go us. Not to mention I'm a crafty wench. So yay all around.
